Meetings Facilities in London for hire

The Society has two meeting rooms at Marjory Warren House, available for hire.

The Lord Amulree room
The room is located on the ground floor and can accommodate 20 people in boardroom style format or 30 people in theatre style format. It is airconditioned, has disabled access and disabled toilet facilities. The room is equipped with laptop, presentation and overhead projectors, flipchart, conference phone and facilities for Powerpoint presentations. Meetings can also be recorded to facilitate minute-taking. The room has been used by the Department of Health; the Falls and Postural Mobility Group; the Royal College of Nursing; and the Royal College of Physicians.

Cost of room hire:
Commercial meetings (sponsored by pharmaceutical companies or funded research): £210

Not for profit bodies (charities, medical societies and other professional bodies): £65.00

The Trevor Howell room
The room is located on the third floor. This room can accommodate 12 people in boardroom style format. It is equipped with a flipchart and conference phone. It was mainly used for meetings of standing BGS committees in 2003.

Cost of room hire:
Not for profit bodies: £50
Not available for commercial meetings

For members of the Society, SIGs and Sections, use of the facilities is free.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge for all meetings. A buffet lunch can be arranged at a reasonable cost.

All quoted rates are per day. All proceeds raised go towards the income of the Society.
