The last issue of the BGS Handbook and Directory of Members was published in May 2008. We will be preparing a new issue in 2010. The Handbook is made available to BGS members only.

The Data Protection Act now requires people whose details can be included in the directory to opt in (as opposed to past practice of opting out of the directory). As in the past, members were invited to authorise the publication of their details through the BGS Newsletter and on this website. If you're not in the 2008 issue, it is because you did not respond to this invitation. Sorry...that's the law. Those members whose names do not appear in the 2008 issue are invited to authorise the publication of their details in 2010 issue.

Please send an email to the Membership Secretary saying:

I, (name), hereby authorise the BGS to publish my name, address and email address in the BGS Handbook until such time as I withdraw this authority. The details I want published are:

Address (if different from the address we have on the membership d-base)

The handbook will be published in May/June 2010.
