The Education and Training Committee presides over all issues related to specialist training in Geriatric Medicine, working closely with the Royal College of Physicians' Specialist Advisory Committee.

The Committee also oversees the following BGS grants: Nurse and Therapists Study Grants, Medical Student's Vacation Grant, and the Young Doctor's Education Grant
