Trainees Group constitution (Word format)

The BGS Trainees Group was constituted:

  • To encourage the effective training of geriatricians
  • To represent the ideas and opinions of trainees within the BGS
  • To encourage the involvement of all trainees in the work of the BGS
  • To provide a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to trainees
  • To disseminate ideas and information to trainees
  • To promote and encourage high quality research by trainees in geriatric medicine

To this end, each of the Committees of the British Geriatrics Society has one or more trainees' representatives, drawing from the BGS Trainees' Group.

With a view to the aim to promote and encourage high quality research, there is a well developed research sub-section on these pages, including "how to" counsel. We do hope that you will find these pages useful and would welcome feedback on how we might improve them.
