Presenters: The draft abstract book will be available around 1 March for checking. I will send an email to all presenters in this regard, reminding them to check their abstract.

Platform presenters, for tips on a good powerpoint presentation, see Dr Ian Taylor's very comprehensive slide show (this is for interest and advice only. It is not meant to be prescriptive).

You will need the original reference number you were given when you submitted your abstract.

Find your abstract. If it has been accepted:

Note your new abstract number (this will indicate where it appears in the abstract book at the meeting). Click the link in the "Meeting Status" column of the table below, corresponding to your number and follow all the instructions given in the Word document provided. Please note:

  • Presenters MUST register for the Scientific Meeting in the normal way. Registration may be done online or on paper
  • Presenters MUST ALSO complete the confirmation form relating to their presentation and return it to the BGS office by 8 March
  • Presenters will be given an opportunity to ensure that the abstract as it appears in the abstract book is correct and has acknowledged all the authors. The draft abstract book will be posted on the website around 1 March.
