Pain in older people
The British Geriatrics Society launched its Pain in Older People special interest group (SIG) in 2015. The founding officers are Dr Aza Abdulla, Professor Peter Passmore (both from the British Geriatrics Society) and Professor Patricia Schofield (from the British Pain Society). Dr Aza Abdulla is the Chairman.
Membership of the SIG is free. The SIG welcomes doctors, nurses and therapists as members of the SIG and membership of the British Geriatrics Society is not a prerequisite for joining the SIG. Whether you're a member of the BGS or not, if you wish to join the BGS Pin in Older People Special Interest Group, click here to see how.
