Isn't the breadth and variety of geriatric medicine fascinating?!
Why geriatric medicine? It's a question I am asked often, often by people who are surprised I have chosen the specialty, or perhaps assume I would prefer to do something else. Geriatric medicine is well suited to those who like "a bit of everything" but also has good opportunities for those who would like to subspecialise.
