Vacancy: BGS representative on the Steering Group of The National Audit of Intermediate Care (NAIC)
Deadline for expressions of interest: 5.00 pm on Wednesday 31 October 2018
We are inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced BGS members to take over as our second representative on the NAIC Steering Group. Our outgoing representative, Dr Fiona Kearney, has kindly agreed to brief her successor once appointed.
The new representative will take over in November/December 2018. The representative will have a strong interest in intermediate care, and may be engaged in any relevant health discipline.
Please download the Steering Group’s terms of reference. There is also further information on the NAIC Steering Group on the NAIC web pages https://www.nhsbenchmarking.nhs.uk/naic-steering-group
Steering Group meetings are usually every other month on a Wednesday morning for a 2-hour period. There will also be time required for proof reading / commenting on reports, Steering Group papers, etc. It would also be helpful if the representative could attend the National Conference (one day in November, this year on 18th November in Birmingham but please don't be put off if you can’t make it this year).
The role is unremunerated, but reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Please send expressions of interest in the form of an email to Colin Nee, ceo [at] bgs [dot] org [dot] uk, setting out your interest and relevant experience.
