We are delighted to announce the two candidates standing for election as the next BGS President Elect. You can find out more information about the candidates and their pledges on this page by clicking on the candidates' names below.
The new President Elect will take office in November 2026 for a two-year term, supporting Dr Amit Arora as President. After this, they will serve a further two-year term from November 2028 to 2030 as BGS President, succeeding Dr Arora in the role.
Voting is open to eligible BGS members from 22 June 2026 at 9am until 23 July 2026 at 9am.
