Dr Mark Johnson is a Geriatric Medicine specialty trainee in Thames Valley. He also works part time in an Associate Medical Director role at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, where he leads work on population healthcare and preventative medicine.
During his training, Mark has taken a keen interest in medical e-rostering, including leading the pioneering rollout of preferential rostering at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. He also led the development of the Trust’s self-development time policy, guaranteeing the provision of SDT for all Resident Doctors within the organisation.
He has presented this work at a national level, was featured in the NHSE Enhancing Resident Doctors’ Lives report and has written for RCP Commentary.

Mark has an advanced level qualification (WSET Level 3) in wine!
