Dr Tarun Solanki

Tarun is a Consultant Geriatrician at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. He has been involved in geriatrics for almost 30 years with a broad range of experience in the speciality. He is passionate about improving care and services for older people and he has developed a bone health and orthogeriatric service at his Trust. His research interests are in Vitamin D and bone health. Tarun is keen on training and education and has been the Educational lead for SpRs at his Trust. He has contributed to the work of the SW BGS, and at a national level as Deputy Chair and now Chair of the England Council.
