I am a Consultant Geriatrician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. I completed my postgraduate training in the East of England region having been based here since I was a core medical trainee.
I have a subspecialty interest in movement disorders and frailty, and I am currently leading work on the integration of Parkinson’s, frailty and palliative services to improve outcomes in advanced care planning and end-of-life support. I also have a background in medical education.
I have had the pleasure, over the years, to have worked with many excellent and dedicated colleagues across the multidisciplinary team and region. I very much look forward to stepping into this role to work with you all in building new and revitalising existing connections, and across the disciplines in maximising BGS engagement – and ultimately maintaining our commitment towards achieving excellence in healthcare for older people.
