The BIASP Trainees' Meeting focuses on the latest updates in stroke medicine.

Programme highlights:

  • Managing the care of acute stroke patients, including hyperacute care and cerebral reperfusion strategies.
  • Managing the primary and secondary prevention of stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attack.
  • Managing early and late stroke rehabilitation in hospital and community settings.

Sessions also include diagnosis, updates in thrombolysis and thrombectomy, pre-hospital stroke assessment, stroke and frailty, managing atrial fibrillation and the role of the physician in stroke rehabilitation.
