  • Supporting the BGS SiGs and Sections
  • Project management 
  • Managing the abstract submission process at the BGS
  • Managing the SpR Grant application process
  • Support for the BGS Events throughout the year 


Jo has worked at the BGS since 2004. She has held various roles within the society including committees secretary, membership and events. Her original background was in banking and in 1991 started working in the NHS-GP surgeries, Royal Marsden Hospital and Barts Hospital in administrative and management capacities. Jo enjoys her work and is incredibly proud of the work undertaken by the BGS members and their willingness to volunteer to assist her.
