The National Conference in Medicine for the Elderly has been running at the University of Leicester for 25 years and we invite you to join us again, or indeed join us for the first time, in order to obtain one of the best updates in what is happening in the field of old age medicine. Please forward this notice to any medical colleagues who may be interested and come and join us.

 

This Conference has speakers from all over the UK on topics ranging from ‘Acute Kidney Injury: Identification and Management in the Older Person’ (Dr James Burton), ‘Diabetes in the Older Person: Evidence-based Treatment’ (Dr Charles Fox), ‘TIA and Stroke: What’s New?’ (Dr Ajay Bhalla) and ‘Informing Cardiac Treatment in the Older Person’ (Professor Gerry McCann). There are also sessions on Cancer (Prof Margot Gosney), Falls Prevention (Dr Jonathan Treml), Epilepsy (Dr Jeffery Cochius) and Sleep Disorders (Dr Andrew Hall).
