AI
If you have used artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, etc) at any stage in the writing of your blog, please declare this.
The use of generative AI is not permitted to produce any part of the article, including text, images or figures.
You may use AI as a tool to help plan, structure, format, sense-check or proofread your article. Please thoroughly check and edit the piece afterwards to ensure that your own knowledge, analysis and voice as an author is clear.
If your article is recognised to have been heavily influenced by AI, it will not be published.
Please send all blog submissions or questions to the BGS Communications team at pr@bgs.org.uk
