Professor Vicky Goodwin

Vicki is a physiotherapist and Professor of Ageing and Rehabilitation at the University of Exeter. She is an NIHR Senior Investigator and Vivensa Foundation Senior Research leader. She is the Theme lead for Ageing Well with the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration South West, having previously been Academic Career Development lead for 13 years.

Her research focusses on older people living with frailty and MLTC, particularly around Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and community rehabilitation. She led the development of recommendations for the inclusion of older people in research. She currently sits on the NIHR HTA and the Senior Investigator panels as well as various panels for the Vivensa Foundation.
