Rhian Morse

Prepared pathways and supported teams and trainees

"Throughout the pandemic Dr Morse has worked tirelessly. Dr Morse is always the first contact through Consultant Connect, she prepared pathways to support primary care teams manage frailty, falls and polypharmacy and provided input to NICE (pelvic floor dysfunction/urinary incontinence). She has supported the ongoing local introduction of mortality reviews and Medical Examiners. She has personally supported all the registrar trainees on the Geriatric Medicine training programme including the development of new training plans, ARCPs and help for those in difficulty. In addition she has provided student and registrar teaching, and has run virtual clinics when others could not. Whilst unable to see patients face to face she has helped develop older peoples service locally and nationally and has provided much needed support for many colleagues."
