We are recruiting multidisciplinary healthcare professionals with BGS membership to become BGS Membership Ambassadors - a new volunteer role at the BGS.
As a BGS Membership Ambassador, your role will be to promote the value of BGS membership and encourage non-members to join. The role typically requires strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interacting with people and the BGS mission. If you want to be more involved in the BGS, this role provides an introduction into working more closely with us.
Ambassadors will serve a two-year term and you must be a current member of the BGS in order to apply.
Duties:
- Attend events and career fairs to raise awareness of the benefits of BGS membership
- Further the awareness of BGS membership through being active on social media and spreading the word to colleagues
- Provide content to help promote BGS membership e.g. write a blog, record a video
- Engage with current members and foster a sense of community
- Help members or potential members connect with relevant resources
- Gather insights and suggestions from members and potential members to help improve the BGS membership offer
Support:
- You will be supported by the BGS secretariat
- Any information and materials you need will be provided by the BGS secretariat
