The British Geriatrics Society (BGS) is advertising for a healthcare professional to support the development of a new elearning course on rehabilitation for older people.
The BGS is now looking to expand our range of elearning courses, which are a comprehensive resource covering the skills, knowledge and behaviours expected of healthcare professionals involved in the health, care and support of older people, aligned to Tier 3 of the capabilities framework.
The work would be undertaken in coordination with the BGS’s Digital Education Manager and supported by an Expert Review Group (ERG) as a steering committee. There will also be support from our existing elearning partner, who will develop the materials for our elearning platform.
The Clinical Fellow will deliver key elements of the course content, coordinating inputs from subject matter experts and reviewing the course modules from a user perspective as to accessibility and suitability. You do not need to be an elearning expert to apply for this exciting role.
Background and context
The BGS Education and Training Committee, Finance Committee and Trustee Board agreed to fund the development of a series of elearning courses. You can see our current live courses on our website: https://www.bgs.org.uk/elearning
