BGS Age and Ageing increases rank in the Geriatrics and Gerontology category

Age and Ageing, the scientific journal of the BGS, has recently announced a Journal Impact Factor™ of 6.0 , reflecting the continuing excellence of our flagship publication over the last year. As a result of this strong performance, the journal now ranks 7th out of 74 in the Geriatrics and Gerontology category, up from 10th out of 54 journals in this category. We remain the top clinical geriatric medical journal in the field.
