Following the successful launch of our first Microlearning course in May, we are delighted to bring you our next course, Visual Impairment in a Clinic Setting.
There are over 2 million people with sight loss in the UK, and this number is expected to double by 2050. The majority of these people are aged 65 and over (RNIB data). So, if you work with older people in any form of clinic setting, this course is for you.
This short course will help you reflect on the impact visual impairment can have on a person and the challenges they may face when attending an appointment. It will encourage you to consider what changes can be made to improve the patient experience in your profession.
Our Microlearning courses are totally free to BGS members and cost only £12 for non-members (join now). Our Microlearning courses are designed to fit around your busy schedule, and should only take around 30-40 minutes to complete.
