Dr Julie Mchale: Rheumatology diseases in older people
Dr Mchale graduated from Manchester University and completed her specialty training and research in London. She was appointed as a consultant in Nottingham since 2000, covering rheumatology, acute and general medicine. She is currently Head of Service for rheumatology, clinical immunology and allergy at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr Zara Pogson: Respiratory Disease in Older People
Dr Pogson is a consultant respiratory physician at Lincoln County Hospital. Her clinical interests are in asthma and COPD. She is also a member of the British Thoracic Society’s specialty workforce committee.
Dr Matt Hall: Renal disease in older people
Dr Hall attended medical school in Cambridge and completed his specialist training in Leicester. He is currently a consultant physician in renal medicine at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has also a special interest in obstetric nephrology.

Dr Makin is a clinical lecturer in geriatric medicine and his principle research interests are in stroke and small vessel disease.
Dr Miles Levy: Endocrine Disease in the Elderly
Dr Levy was appointed consultant endocrinologist at University Hospitals of Leicester in 2005 and is Honorary Associate Professor at Leicester University. His research interest includes the genetics of endocrine tumours, functional imaging in endocrine tumours, sodium disorders and the association of pituitary tumours and headache. He co-writes the endocrinology chapter for Kumar & Clarke and Endocrinology at a Glance, and is TPD and undergraduate education Lead for Endocrinology at Leicester Medical School. His most serious academic pursuits are playing music and Arsenal Football Club.

Dr Loke is a consultant cardiologist based at University Hospitals of Leicester. He is a member of the Leicester Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit.
