Reason for joining the BGS Trainees’ Committee
I feel very strongly that trainees should have a voice about education and training in their own curriculum, and this is the reason I have joined the committee. I want to promote and share good practice that is happening nationally within Geriatric training. I also hope to enhance training in areas such as Psychiatry and Palliative Care. If you have any comments about Education and Training in Geriatric Medicine please contact me and I will do my best to raise and solve any issues.

Why do you feel trainees should get involved with the committee?
The committee is a great opportunity to meet enthusiastic people who care about the future of Geriatric Medicine. I encourage everyone to get involved with the committee and to engage with all the trainee reps if (and when) they ask your views - so we can make the speciality better.
