Cardiovascular care in the older adult This resource series, curated by the BGS Cardiovascular SIG, brings together key principles and guidelines on the management of cardiovascular disease in older adults. Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Toolkit for Primary Care Practitioners The CGA toolkit for General Practitioners and medical and healthcare professionals working in primary care settings explains what comprehensive geriatric assessment is, in what circumstances to use it, how it is done together with planning and involvement of social services. Coronavirus and older people This resource series brings together current advice from experts within the BGS relating to older people and the current COVID-19 pandemic. Curricula for training in medicine and healthcare of older people A series of curricula specifying the competencies required for doctors, nurses and AHPs specialising in the healthcare of older people, including elements of palliative care, psychiatry and community geriatrics. Delirium Hub This resource series brings together articles, national guidelines, best practice and learning material on the topic of delirium in older people. Dignity is at the heart of dealing with older people Care must be delivered by staff who put the individual at the centre by listening to them and or their relatives. Vulnerable older people deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, humanity and compassion. Dignity and respect is everybody's responsibility. End of Life Care in Frailty The aim of this guidance is to support clinicians and others in considering needs and providing high quality care for frail older people as they move towards the end of their lives.
