Role on the BGS Trainees’ Council:

Ensure the BGS contributes effectively to the training and education of trainees and members. In my role as finance representative I hope to gain an understanding of the budgets within the BGS, which will then allow me to work with colleagues to maximise the value of the BGS for trainee members.  Working closely with colleagues within the Trainees Council, I hope to ensure trainees get the most out of the BGS!

Why trainees should get involved with the committee

There are many challenges facing Geriatric medicine – yet now is the best time to be a Geriatrician! The committee brings together like-minded passionate individuals who have similar aspirations to further the field of geriatrics. We can bring a new voice to the BGS.
