Jennifer Burns

Dr Jennifer Burns was appointed as  Consultant Geriatrician at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 1995. She has a special interest in Movement Disorder.  Throughout her career, she has had a keen interest in undergraduate and postgraduate education and served as the Lead Training Programme Director for Scotland.  She  also has a role as  Appraisal Lead within Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board  and  values the impact of appraisal on supporting professional development. 

The Society has an important role to support training and education for a wide range of health care professionals looking after older people.
