Dr Katherine Chin

Role on the Council

To represent the view of junior doctors and the trainee council at the BGS Research and Academic Development Committee (RADC)

Meetings

BGS national trainee council meetings, BGS RADC meetings

Reason for joining the BGS Trainees' Council

I'm looking forward to working with the other committee members on the trainee council and the Research and Academic Development committee to explore how we can promote engagement with research within the speciality. I am particularly interested in improving the engagement of junior doctors and medical students in research.

Why trainees should get involved with the committee

If you are interested in getting involved with a friendly and collaborative committee that values the perspectives of junior doctors who are interested in caring for older adults - then this is the committee for you! It is a brilliant opportunity to meet like-minded people, to share ideas on how to improve care, and to make tangible changes.
