The BGS Trainees Council comprises eighteen members who are trainee specialists in geriatrics. The Chair serves as Trustee on the BGS Board of Trustees and the other members serve on the Society's various operational committees, representing trainees' views and feeding back to their constituents. Each of the devolved nations has a representative on the Council. There is also a representative serving trainees who work less than full time as well as well a Communications and PR representative who serves as the central contact for all communications to the trainees.
